Quality or Quantity?

A mass of production line imagery won't really make you gain anything special.

That's why I don’t deliver +100 images which actually repeat themselves with a tiny ‘nuance’. I take more than that though in a photoshoot. As a habit from working on Media for years, for example, if I am asked to deliver 10 images, it have to be 10 ‘different plans of images’, not 10 images repeating themselves.

I do not make you blind in numbers.

Never really interested in production line type work, even though it gives you a false feeling of making more money out of it, and it is easier, my motives are different when it comes to work as a creative.

I am driven by bounding sincere relations and having 'quality over quantity' approach.

That gives me more opportunity / and / flexibility to focusing, exploring and executing.

Composition, light, expression and pose of the person. To me these are the must haves for a good photo. Just enough to set the basis. Then you have a lot more to build upon.

Don't forget that portrait photography is not only about the physical image. It is about bringing your presence and personality on a two dimensional image.

Why I use professional light sources At indoor photoshoots?

Do you know why I am taking my "off camera strobes" with me for indoor photoshoots? Although it is the easy option just to show up with my camera and not carry around all that equipment (lights, tripods, light shapers, diffusers, reflectors etc.)

Here is a list of why:

what you don't get when you book me for a photoshoot

Do you know what you don't get, when you book me for a photoshoot?

Bull$hit.

Here I share an incident with you: A lady hires a photographer for her branding. They have quite a long winded planning, including pages of "form filling", which were about her "branding", "passion", "target audience" etc... And on top of these, things continue with selecting and gathering lots of fancy props, explaining each plan photograph with supportive images, dressing code etc...

Sounds amazing, doesn't it?

Maybe not...

Personal branding photography is about so much more than snapping pretty pictures - it’s about telling your brand story and creating something of value. I work with you to showcase your personality, your style, your essence, your ethos.

Well, ok. But what do you actually gain by having a professional photoshoot with me?

What would be your dream job if you have magical powers?

A while ago, I had been asked in one of the social media groups, if I got the power to have my dream job, (it could be anything and anywhere, just like in a fairy tale), what would it be?

When was the last time you looked back the first years of your working life?

When I look back to the first years of my working life, it seems like another Age. I was only 21 when I started working as a photo journalist, on one of the biggest daily newspapers in Istanbul, Turkey. I didn't even know what I was really doing.
